The flag of Brazil has a green field with a large yellow rhombus in the center. A blue circle is placed within the rhombus, with 27 white five-pointed stars of five different sizes arranged in the shapes of various constellations of the Southern Hemisphere. The modern flag was officially adopted on November 19, 1889.
